It's hard to believe the favorite summer past time of baseball, softball and tee ball are upon us!
By now, if you have a child on a team, you've probably already purchased equipment and anything needed for their uniforms. But have you thought about all of the snacks you'll want during all those practices and games?
Here's a few little tips to help be prepared with snacks in case the concession stand just doesn't cut it during one of your kids' games.
Buy some quart sized Ziploc (or similar brand) bags and gallon sized.
Pack these items in your quart sized bags
Beef Jerky Sticks
Cheese or Peanut Butter Crackers
Rice Krispy Treats
For healthier options (you'll need a cooler to keep items cool)
Veggies and dip
Almonds, Peanuts, Cashews
Yogurt covered fruit snacks
And don't forget to pack Wet Ones or similar moist towelettes because you know you'll need them!
In your gallon size bags, you can include a smaller size drink bottle like Gatorade, water, flavored waters and also your smaller size bags if you want to pack one bag per child.
Every year we keep our folding camp chairs in the back of the vehicle we plan to drive to practices or games so we always have them ready. If you're in the market for a new chair and want something unique and different, check out this cool chair I found on Dick's Sporting Goods GCI Outdoor Pico Arm Chair.
Oh...and don't forget to pack the sunscreen and insect repellant!
